Pajaki (pah-yonk-ee) are traditional Polish chandeliers made from coloured paper and straw. They symbolise health and happiness and date back to the 18th century when they were made in the countryside by women as decorations for their homes during Christmas, Easter and weddings celebrations. These eco-conscious paper chandeliers are wonderful examples of traditional folk art, creating lasting paper flowers, celebrating the bright colours of the carnival and can be developed and made in a myriad of colour ways and sizes.
INDIVIDUAL £40 (limited to 8 places) - includes all materials for one beautiful Pajaki chandelier.
